Cocktail Shaker Set

This attractive and serviceable Cocktail Set, moderately priced, conveys an impression of outstanding value. The shaker of frosted crystal glass, modern in design, is of unusual and appreciated capacity—41 ounces.
The Plaskon top, red or black, in striking contrast to the frosted surface of the shaker, is of two-piece construction, non-corrosive and leak-proof. The base of the top contains a strainer and screws tightly on the shaker; the top piece is a 1½-ounce jigger. Eight 4-ounce Safedge glasses, frosted and banded шn white and red or black to match the shaker complete the set.

This artistic combination Shaker and Mixer is as practical as it is beautiful. The tall, slender cylinder is of smooth, hand-blown flint glass with a soft frosted and finely polished surface. The chrome shaker top has a slotted strainer and glass stopper. The Mixer attachment consists of a chrome slip cover and long stirring spoon.
Can be supplied with the Shaker top alone, or as a combination Cocktail Shaker-Martini Mixer.

About The Blog

The latter group are often referred to as “mixologists,” a term given to practitioners of “mixology,” which is really just another way of referring to the practice of making good cocktails. Mixology might seem like a newfangled term, but it’s actually pretty old, like mid-19th century old, and was only revived as a way to describe the recent renaissance of bartenders caring (a lot) about their craft.
