Description

(1) Alexander Cocktail

1/3 Crème de Cacao
1/3 Brandy
1/3 Fresh Cream.
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.


(2) Alexander Cocktail

In a shaker place one-third gin, one-third Creme de Cocoa, and one-third rich cream. Fill with ice and shake well in order to get a thorough mixture. Strain and serve in cocktail glass.


(3) ALEXANDER

One third Gin
One third Creme de Cocoa
One third Heavy Cream.
A very popular cocktail everywhere.


(4) Alexander

1/3 Creme-de-Cocoa
1/3 Cream or Milk
1/3 Dry Gin
Strain into claret glass.


(5) ALEXANDER

Someone concocted this camouflaged dynamite years ago. Here’s to him. Smooth as silk, its rich, creamy sweetness made it seem as though you were drinking nothing more than a simple chocolate ice cream soda.
One-third gin
One-third creme de cocoa
One-third heavy cream
Shake with ice and serve


(6) ALEXANDER SUBSTITUTE

A marvelous substitute for those who didn’t drink. For it worked just as well as real liquor did. Two was plenty—and don’t say we didn’t warn you.
One-half gin
One-half soft coffee ice cream
Shake well


(7) ALEXANDER

1/3 Gin
1/3 Crème de Cocoa
1/3 Cream Shake.


(8) ALEXANDER

2 parts gin
1 part crême de cacao
1 part heavy cream.
Heap caviare on rounds of toast, garnish with chopped egg and a dash of scraped onion, place in a hot oven for one and one-half minutes.
Serve plenty of olives and pickled onions with this.


(9) ALEXANDER COCKTAIL

Into the shaker go
Two parts gin
One part creme de cocoa
One part lime juice
and a pony of thick sweet cream
Add lots of ice and shake violently.


(10) ALEXANDER

Gin ….. 1/3 jigger
Cream ….. 1/3 jigger
Creme de Cocoa ….. 1/3 jigger
Nutmeg ….. to taste
Shake well with ice, strain into chilled cocktail glass, grate nutmeg over and serve.


(11) ALEXANDER

Gin ….. 1/2 jigger
Coffee Ice Cream ….. 1/2 jigger
Shake well with ice, strain into chilled cocktail glass and serve.


(12) ALEXANDER COCKTAIL

½ Dry Gin.
¼ Crème de Cacao.
¼ Sweet Cream.
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.


(13) ALEXANDER COCKTAIL

⅓ Crème de Cacao.
⅓ Brandy.
¼ Fresh Cream.
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.


(14) Alexander Cocktail

Fill the shaker half full of broken ice and add: one liqueur glass of brown Cream of Cocoa, add some fresh cream, shake well and strain’ into a cocktail glass.
