12 Cocktails for World Burlesque Day
Mixed Drinks

World Burlesque Day is an annual event celebrated on April 26th to recognize and celebrate the art of burlesque. Burlesque is a form of theatrical entertainment that originated in the 19th century, characterized by humor, satire, and parody. Today, burlesque is often associated with striptease and has evolved into a form of performance art that celebrates body positivity, diversity, and empowerment. About The Blog

The latter group are often referred to as “mixologists,” a term given to practitioners of “mixology,” which is really just another way of referring to the practice of making good cocktails. Mixology might seem like a newfangled term, but it’s actually pretty old, like mid-19th century old, and was only revived as a way to describe the recent renaissance of bartenders caring (a lot) about their craft.
