“As a host I appreciate the superior quality of Smirnoff…

As an economist I applaud its superior value.”

“The doom and gloom boys say, ‘Hang on to every nickel. Cut back on everything.’

“I say, nonsense! If you want quality, you have to pay for it. That’s why Smirnoff vodka costs a little more than ordinary vodkas. But any time you can get superb quality for just a little more, I say buy!

“Speaking personally, I think Smirnoff makes a very good drink. Speaking as an economist, I think Smirnoff makes very good sense.”

Eliot Janeway, world famous economist.

“As an entertainer, I give the quality of Smirnoff rave reviews.

As a businesswoman, I rave about its value”

“Let me tell you my secrets for giving a great Holiday party… Pretend you’re a guest- enjoy your own party. And always serve the very best.

“That’s why I always serve Smirnoff vodka. It adds just the right touch of quality and elegance.

“It’s a sensible idea too. Because for just a little more than ordinary vodkas, I can enjoy the fine quality of Smirnoff. “So whether I’m entertaining a lot of people or just a few, I always have Smirnoff…and I always get rave reviews.”

Polly Bergen, businesswoman and entertainer.

“The truth is, would speak for the quality of Smirnoff anytime.

Its value speaks for itself.”

“Everyone admitted to the bar at my house, always gets Smirnoff. And no one ever raises an objection.

“Some might argue that Smirnoff vodka costs more. I’ll concede that. But consider this … for just a little more than you pay for ordinary vodkas, you can have the great quality of Smirnoff.

“Faced with evidence like this you can reach just one conclusion. Smirnoff is simply the best value in vodka. I rest my case.”

F. Lee Bailey, trial lawyer.

“The perfectionist in me demands Smirnoff for its quality.

My business side appreciates its value”

“This is what intrigues me about Smirnoff. It has the quality … that touch of perfection I look for in everything.

“I found out a long time ago, however, perfection always costs more. In precious stones, in fine jewelry … even in vodka.

“When you consider that no other vodka is filtered for purity and clarity the way Smirnoff is, it’s amazing Smirnoff vodka costs just a little more than ordinary brands. And for just a little more, the businessman in me is made just as happy as the perfectionist.”

Ralph Destino, President of Cartier, Inc.

“In my book, quality makes Smirnoff worth asking for.

Its value makes it a best-seller.”

“I weave webs of intrigue in my books, but when it comes to vodka, I’m easy to read.

“Whenever I’m in a restaurant or bar, I simply ask for Smirnoff vodka. Smirnoff. Specifically.

“Why? Because no other vodka is filtered for purity and clarity the Smirnoff way. That’s what gives Smirnoff its ultimate quality. And when I spy Smirnoff at the bar, I know the people who pour it won’t settle for less. That’s my kind of place. And drink.

“Sure, Smirnoff may cost a little more, but in my book, quality always does.”

Robert Ludlum, author of The Parsifal Mosaic and 10 other best-sellers.

About The Blog

The latter group are often referred to as “mixologists,” a term given to practitioners of “mixology,” which is really just another way of referring to the practice of making good cocktails. Mixology might seem like a newfangled term, but it’s actually pretty old, like mid-19th century old, and was only revived as a way to describe the recent renaissance of bartenders caring (a lot) about their craft.
