PERRIER.

EARTH’S FIRST SOFT DRINK.

WITH A TWIST.

When the earth was young, before France even had a name, a pure and sparkling spring was born, to the delight of humankind forever after. Because, in time, that same delicious Ice-Age spring was to fill one little green Perrier bottle after another.

Today, you can buy Perrier with a new twist. A twist of lemon. A twist of lime. Or a twist of orange. No sugar. No salt. No calories. Nothing artificial. Just the natural taste you would get with a twist. And it’s still Perrier. Created by the earth, when it was new.

Bottled only at the mineral spring of Perrier, Vergeze, France.

Perrier. With Atwist.

Now we bring you Perrier With A Twist. A twist of lemon. Of lime. Of orange. It’s still earth’s first soft drink, from that same Ice Age spring. No sugar, salt or calories. Just the natural taste you get with a twist.

Earth’s First Soft Drink.

When the earth was new, mountains rose and valleys were carved and there was created in what is now called France, a spring that is now called Perrier.

All the Perrier in the world is born in that pure, sparkling salt-free spring. Which is why it’s known as earth’s first soft drink.

Hannibal Has One For The Road.

Hannibal was one smart Carthaginian general. Smart enough to know you don’t get tipsy when you have to drive an elephant across the Alps.

Before embarking on that trip, legend has it, Hannibal threw a rousing party in Gaul-now known as France. And toasted himself and his troops with copious drafts of the local sparkling mineral water-now known as Perrier. The rest is history.

Many empires have declined and fallen since. But man still celebrates. And if man is smart, the beverage of choice is still Perrier. Especially before he gets behind the wheel.

In some respects, life is more exciting now than in Roman times. We still have the very same salt-free, calorie-free Perrier that Hannibal used when he wished himself bon voyage. But we also have Perrier With A Twist. Of lemon. Or orange. Or lime.

So if you’re crossing an Alp over the holidays, or only crossing town, make sure your one-for-the-road is Perrier.

Earths First Soft Drink.

Bottled In Vergeze, France. Where It Was Born.

About The Blog

The latter group are often referred to as “mixologists,” a term given to practitioners of “mixology,” which is really just another way of referring to the practice of making good cocktails. Mixology might seem like a newfangled term, but it’s actually pretty old, like mid-19th century old, and was only revived as a way to describe the recent renaissance of bartenders caring (a lot) about their craft.
