Star Wars Day is an unofficial holiday celebrated by fans of the Star Wars franchise on May 4th. The date was chosen because the phrase “May the Fourth be with you” sounds like a play on words of the famous Star Wars phrase, “May the Force be with you.”

Star Wars Day is a day for fans to celebrate all things Star Wars, and it is often marked by movie marathons, costume parties, and other events that pay homage to the beloved sci-fi franchise. Fans may also use the occasion to share Star Wars-themed content on social media or engage in discussions about the franchise with fellow fans.

While Star Wars Day is not an officially recognized holiday, it has gained widespread popularity among fans of all ages, and has become a beloved annual tradition for many.

The Dark Side Cocktail

  • 2 oz black vodka
  • 1 oz blackberry liqueur
  • 1/2 oz lime juice
  • Ice
  • Black sugar for rim (optional)

Directions: Rim a glass with black sugar (optional). In a shaker, combine the black vodka, blackberry liqueur, and lime juice. Shake until chilled. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.

The Yoda Cocktail

  • 1 oz Midori melon liqueur
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz coconut rum
  • 1/2 oz blue curacao
  • Ice
  • Green sugar for rim (optional)

Directions: Rim a glass with green sugar (optional). In a shaker, combine the Midori melon liqueur, pineapple juice, coconut rum, and blue curacao. Shake until chilled. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.

The Jedi Mind Trick Cocktail

  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 1/2 oz honey syrup
  • 1/2 oz blue curacao
  • Ice
  • Lemon twist for garnish (optional)

Directions: In a shaker, combine the vodka, grapefruit juice, pineapple juice, honey syrup, and blue curacao. Shake until chilled. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lemon twist, if desired.

The Force Cocktail

  • 1 oz gin
  • 1 oz blue curacao
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 1/2 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • Ice
  • Starfruit slice for garnish (optional)

Directions: In a shaker, combine the gin, blue curacao, pineapple juice, lime juice, and simple syrup. Shake until chilled. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with a starfruit slice, if desired.

The Millennium Falcon

  • 1 oz spiced rum
  • 1 oz amaretto
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • Ice
  • Orange twist for garnish (optional)

Directions: In a shaker, combine the spiced rum, amaretto, pineapple juice, and orange juice. Shake until chilled. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange twist, if desired.

The Jedi Knight Cocktail

  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz blue curacao
  • 1 oz lemonade
  • 1 oz peach schnapps
  • Ice
  • Lemon slice for garnish (optional)

Directions: In a shaker, combine the vodka, blue curacao, lemonade, and peach schnapps. Shake until chilled. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lemon slice, if desired.
