9 Cocktails for World Art Day
Holidays and Observances

World Art Day is an international celebration of art that takes place every year on April 15th. The day was created by the International Association of Art (IAA/AIAP), a UNESCO partner organization, to promote awareness of creative activity worldwide.

The idea of World Art Day was proposed at the 17th General Assembly of the International Association of Art in 2011 and was officially recognized the following year on April 15th, 2012. The date was chosen in honor of Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday, as he is considered one of the greatest artists of all time.

The purpose of World Art Day is to raise awareness of the importance of art in our lives and to encourage people to participate in and support artistic expression. The day is celebrated around the world through various events and activities, including art exhibitions, workshops, performances, and public art installations.

World Art Day aims to promote the role of art as a tool for social change, education, and cultural understanding. It is an opportunity for people to appreciate and celebrate the diversity of artistic expression across cultures and throughout history.

About The Blog

The latter group are often referred to as “mixologists,” a term given to practitioners of “mixology,” which is really just another way of referring to the practice of making good cocktails. Mixology might seem like a newfangled term, but it’s actually pretty old, like mid-19th century old, and was only revived as a way to describe the recent renaissance of bartenders caring (a lot) about their craft.
