8 Cocktails for World Design Day

8 Cocktails for World Design Day
Holidays and Observances

World Design Day is an annual celebration of design that takes place on April 27th of each year. The day is observed worldwide to promote awareness and recognition of the value of design and its impact on society. The International Council of Design, formerly known as the International Council of Graphic Design Associations (ICOGRADA), established World Design Day in 2006, and it has been celebrated annually ever since.

Each year, World Design Day has a specific theme that encourages designers, educators, and students to reflect on the role of design in shaping the world around us. The themes vary from year to year and have included topics such as “Design for Communities”, “Design is Everywhere”, “Design for a Responsible Future”, and “Design as a Catalyst for Change”.

On World Design Day, designers and design enthusiasts organize events, workshops, exhibitions, and lectures to celebrate and promote the role of design in creating a better world. The day provides a platform for designers to share their ideas, showcase their work, and inspire others to use design as a tool for positive change.

About The Blog

The latter group are often referred to as “mixologists,” a term given to practitioners of “mixology,” which is really just another way of referring to the practice of making good cocktails. Mixology might seem like a newfangled term, but it’s actually pretty old, like mid-19th century old, and was only revived as a way to describe the recent renaissance of bartenders caring (a lot) about their craft.
