10 Alcohol Cocktails Tip for the White Day
Holidays and Observances

White Day is traditionally celebrated in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan as a day when men give gifts to women who gave them chocolates on Valentine’s Day. If you’re planning to celebrate White Day with your significant other, here are some alcohol drink recipes you can try:

  1. White Russian – vodka, coffee liqueur, heavy cream or half and half. Shake or stir vodka and coffee liqueur with ice, strain into a glass filled with ice, and top with cream.
  2. Vanilla Vodka Martini – vanilla vodka, white chocolate liqueur, half and half. Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a martini glass.
  3. Irish Cream Coffee – Irish cream liqueur, hot coffee, whipped cream. Pour Irish cream liqueur into a coffee mug, top with hot coffee, and garnish with whipped cream.
  4. Coconut Margarita – tequila, coconut cream, lime juice. Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a salt-rimmed glass.
  5. Sparkling White Sangria – white wine, sparkling water, fruit. Mix chilled white wine, sparkling water, and sliced fruit such as strawberries, grapes, and oranges in a pitcher.
  6. Strawberry Martini – vodka, strawberry liqueur, fresh strawberry. Muddle fresh strawberries, shake with vodka and strawberry liqueur, and strain into a chilled martini glass.
  7. Pink Lady – gin, applejack, grenadine, lemon juice. Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.
  8. French 75 – gin, lemon juice, sugar, Champagne. Shake gin, lemon juice, and sugar with ice, strain into a champagne flute, and top with champagne.
  9. Peach Bellini – peach puree, Prosecco. Mix chilled peach puree and Prosecco in a champagne flute.

About The Blog

The latter group are often referred to as “mixologists,” a term given to practitioners of “mixology,” which is really just another way of referring to the practice of making good cocktails. Mixology might seem like a newfangled term, but it’s actually pretty old, like mid-19th century old, and was only revived as a way to describe the recent renaissance of bartenders caring (a lot) about their craft.
