Cocktails by Ingredients

Cherry vodka is a flavored vodka that is infused with natural or artificial cherry flavor. Vodka, a neutral spirit that is typically made from grains such as wheat or corn, is often used as a base for flavored vodkas. Cherry vodka is typically made by infusing vodka with fresh or dried cherries or by adding cherry flavoring during the distillation process.

Cherry vodka can be used as a base for a variety of cocktails, including cherry martinis, cherry cosmopolitans, and cherry lemon drops. It can also be used in recipes for desserts and baked goods, such as cherry vodka chocolate truffles and cherry vodka cheesecake.

About The Blog

The latter group are often referred to as “mixologists,” a term given to practitioners of “mixology,” which is really just another way of referring to the practice of making good cocktails. Mixology might seem like a newfangled term, but it’s actually pretty old, like mid-19th century old, and was only revived as a way to describe the recent renaissance of bartenders caring (a lot) about their craft.
